The album cover is damaged, looks like it was bent at some point. I’m buying 30 year old used albums with perfect covers, no excuses for a brand new album to be damaged. The box the album was delivered in was in perfect condition so it was packaged damaged. Like I said great sounding album /5(50).

Dec 08,  · Once we sprayed the solution onto the vinyl, we applied light pressure, in a circular motion, to a microfiber cloth to work on the stains. The record needed a good rinse after application as there was a shiny film left on the vinyl surface. We found that the solution did remove quite a lot of grime, as evidenced by the before and after.

Get rid of strong mildew smells by putting just the LP cover -- not the album, of course -- in the microwave on a low temperature for about 20 to 30 seconds. The microwave should absorb the smell, but if it's still stinky, put it back in the microwave as many times as necessary to take care of the odor.

2 days ago · Vinyl created the unreasonable romance of the album to disguise its naked commercial function. If vinyl, both creatively and commercially, made the album possible then the MP3 destroyed it. Let’s look at the evidence. In order to do so, it is best to understand the development, the impact and the influence of the MP3 across four distinct phases.

Jul 29,  · Reproducing bass on vinyl is a serious engineering challenge, but the upshot is that there's a lot of filtering and signal processing happening to make the bass on vinyl work.
