Wes Madiko (born 15 January ), better known as Wes, is a Cameroonian musician. He is probably best known among Western audiences for "In Youpendi", a song from The Lion King II soundtrack, as well as work with Deep Forest and his own hit "Alane" produced by Michel Sanchez. As of late until the present, he was working on a new project with electronic composer and producer Paul Kwitek.

Wes also had a single around this time called 'In Youpendi' for The Lion King Collection, a CD compilation released in Germany. If you're looking for an album that reminds you of 'Boheme', this one would most readily come to mind first. But Wes also carries trace of Tama and Youssou N'Dour, but hes in a totally different class by himself/5(19).
