This compilation of the great French pianist Jacques Loussier is simply extraordinary. An extremely virtuous, flawless execution and and well fused the music of the great j. S. Bach in the language of jazz. This legendary trio hypnotizes us with its eclectic version, almost magical. The Toccata & Fugue in D Minor version is superb/5(19).

His piano jazz variations on Bach are (I dare say) better than Bach itself, although of course there would be no Jacques Loussier without Bach. Loussier's music flows effortlessly, one does not even realise the complexity of piano play he employs to convey Bach's music transforming it to 20th century jazz without losing and of the original tones/5(46).
